True yoga doesn’t care about the shape of your body, but the shape of your life. Yoga is not to be performed; yoga is to be lived. Yoga doesn’t care about what you have been; yoga cares about the person you are becoming. -Aadil Palkhivala

I have the privilege of teaching in the Columbia River Gorge area at Machi Yoga in Hood River, and at the Mosier Grange. When I’m traveling I do add group public classes at Peace Love and Yoga in Carlsbad, CA, and Yoga 8 in Waco Texas. Follow on instagram for the most updated teaching schedule.

Therapeutic Chair Yoga for Everybody: Join us for a nurturing practice that celebrates the beauty of being you, where every aspect of your being is honored. This class is designed with adaptability and accessibility in mind, welcoming individuals of all mobility levels, health conditions, ages, and life experiences. In this class, you’ll be guided through gentle movements, focused on stability and mobility, mindful breathing techniques and meditation practices to restore harmony within. This practice aims to promote healing and balance across all dimensions of your being—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. We invite you to flow with us into a deeper connection to self, cultivating a sense of community and compassion along the way. Props used: chair, bolsters, blocks, strap, blanket

Restorative Yoga: Restorative yoga is a practice of learning to surrender. In this 60-minute class, we will practice a series of energetically aligned postures, fully supported by props. We will use bolsters, blocks, blankets and straps to create ultra-comfortable positions to rest in. Imagine being held in the most loving, caring embrace without exerting any effort. These deeply relaxing and introspective poses are held for 5-10 minutes. In this place of supported stillness, we have the opportunity to go deep within; to discover the depths of our genuine, authentic selves.

Power Flow: A more vigorous form of Vinyasa Flow that will invite students to hold poses for a few cycles of breath and then to link these into a dynamic flow in a faster pace, finding a sense of each owns edge through awareness. A victorious or breath of fire (Ujjayi pranayama) is encouraged during this practice to help you maintain your own focus, clarity and build internal heat. Yogis can expect an increase of flexibility, stability, strength & stamina.
